Wireless Without Commitment

May 15, 2010

It seems many people are going for a wireless phone with no commitment. Trading in that two-year plan for a pay as you go cell phone may not be your cup of tea but for a lot of people it suits the need that they have at the price point they can afford especially in this economy. Primarily marketed in the past to people who couldn’t get the two-year plan due to creditworthiness  now some people have all of these minutes in their plans that they don’t use because all they do is text. Does that sound like your teenager? For a lot of people the answer would be yes and they might be a good candidate for a pay as you go phone with unlimited text. We are not going to see a pay as you go iPhone or Droid but these aren’t the markets these phones are designed for. However saying that the phones now are more modern and have more features than the ones offered only a few years ago. If you want to get rid of that contract or just lower that bill, or maybe you have that teenager who never talks to anyone but texts a lot you may look in to one of these options.  For options look Here or Here for a couple of options that are out there.
