80th Kiddie Kapers Parade In Salinas Ca.

July 5, 2010

The 80th annual Kiddie Kapers Parade in Salinas California is happening on june 10 at 6:30 pm in old town Salinas. This event kicks off big week before the California Rodeo Salinas. Kiddie Kapers is just one of those events you have to do if you have kids, nieces nephew, grandkids or just like to go out and enjoy a good time on a central coast summer evening. Kiddie Kapers is a parade of children with bikes, wagons, dogs, bands, and cheerleaders. There are no large animals and no motorized vehicles and no advertising. I can’t say this too many times Kiddie Kapers is just about the kids. Judging starts 5:00 pm at the corner of  Lincoln and San Luis Streets in old town Salinas. Every child entering will receive a ribbon a dollar bill and coupons from local businesses for entering. There is no registration this is a free event and there will be cash prizes for best dressed etc. Have fun.
